ANTIQUE

Ancient carpets
are those made until the end of the nineteenth century, although lately less serious or less traders make this category also include more recent pieces, knotted in the first thirty years of the twentieth century.
These knots were made with the processing techniques (materials, structure and knotting) typical of the production area and their price depends on some fundamental factors. They are the format, the knotting, the state of conservation and the rarity.
The ancient carpet for an expert eye is not difficult to recognize, since it is like an open book and can not lie. It is an object that has its own history intimately linked to the peoples who created it, and history is understandable only to those who have studied it well.
