The origin of Kilim is very old, there have been finds of specimens dating back to 6350 and 5400 A.C., but few have been able to resist until today.
The Kilim were initially produced by the Anatolian tribes to replace the wall paintings, in fact this type of rugs are rich in symbols and drawings with specific meanings related to the tradition of the tribe.
The Kilim are very light carpets, without fleece and from the flat knot, the fringes of these carpets are tied to a “knot” to prevent the carpet from loosening.
